Former Black stars striker Asamoah Gyan has found himself trending again amid Euros. He smartly posted an emoji on twitter few minutes after Kyliann Mpambbe missed a crucial penalty for his national team.
One Ghanaian player who have come under much criticize for an error during 2010 World Cup is Asamoah Gyan. The former captain, Baby jet came under many criticism after he lost that penalty against Uruguay. His criticism was as a result of this same penalty lost at a crucial moment.

The match between France and Switzerland had high expectations and with many tipping France to roll over the Swiss easily. The matched ended 3:3 draw tie after 90 minutes, went into extra time and penalty shootout. Unfortunately, France national team is out, Mbamppe’s strike was punched out by the Swiss goal keeper. The 2018 world cup winners are out of the tournament.
Gyan who had once been in the shoes of Kyliann Mbamppe on twitter used emojis with mouth zipped to express himself on the penalty missed. Although his emojis had no statement attached to it, many have made meanings out of it.
Others said, he was incinerating he wasn’t the only best player to spoil a penalty or let his team down.
