The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has told Paul Adom Otchere that his analysis smacks like a village lotto forecaster.
Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah indicates that the host of Good evening Ghana on Metro Television has been creating the impression that he has a certain mindset about the NDC.
Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah was speaking in an interview with Philip Osei Bonsu on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Political program.
For some weeks now, Paul Adom Otchere has been presenting editorials on his program about the likely candidates to lead the NDC in the 2024 election.
He made some pairings and brought out the main factions in the NDC. However, his analysis has since been widely discussed in the media domain. But Mr. Asiedu Nketiah disagrees with him.
“I see him (Paul Adom Otchere) as a village lotto forecaster. He is creating the impression as if he has spoken to some NDC executives and is doing some good analysis. His analysis is completely inaccurate. He is deliberately trying to downgrade some persons in the party. His analysis did not even feature Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang. He singled out some people and mentioned those he is interested in. There is no truth in his analysis”. Asiedu Nketiah indicated.
Also, he adds that the National Democratic Congress is a serious political party. He says, the party and all its followers have their eyes wild open on Paul Adom Otchere and will follow his activities. Surprisingly, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah adds that the mindset of Paul Adom Octhere is now in exposure for Ghanaians to see.
“There is a crafty agenda by others to rule some people out of the NDC. Everything he is doing exposes his mindset about the NDC. We don’t understand what he is doing. People should take notice that NDC is not run on the basis of lotto forecasting on Metro television”. He noted.
At the last part of the interview, which two candidate aside John Dramani Mahama, he thinks can win them the presidential seat. However, he went on to mention the name of the host of the show and also Paul Adom Otchere in a hilarious way.
