What is Treasury bill and how does it work

Treasury bills have periods for which they are determined at matured. This could be months or one year and interest are paid upon it maturity stage and not before. The interest on the T-bill is determined by the rate of the bank as well as the money invested. They are offered with maturities of 28 days (one month), 91 days (3 months), 182 days (6 months), and 364 days (one year).
