BET Awards 2021: Nigerian Artiste Burna Boy Wins “Best International Act of the Year” Category

Nigerian artiste Burna Boy wins big at BET Awards 2021 with “Best International Act of the Year” award.

Nigerian Artiste Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, with the stage name Burna Boy has won the “best International Act of the Year” category at the Bet Awards 2021.

This year’s Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards which was the 21st Edition, was held on 27th June, 2021 at the Microsoft Theatre, Downtown Los Angeles in the United States.

“Year of the Black Woman” was the theme for this yearly awards event. And has been the first live in person event with attendance since the pandemic broke out.

Burna boy was in the “International Act of the Year” category with fellow Nigerian Singer Wizkid, Tanzania singer Diamond Platnumz and other artistes from France, Brazil and UK. At the end he was victorious over the others.

It is the third (3rd) time the multiple award winning musician Burna Boy has picked up an Award for this same international act of the year category.

He won the first BET Awards in 2019, the second in 2020 and now the third in 2021. Besides, other International artistes came first in their various categories as well and Burna Boy’s win is a great one for Africa.

Congratulations for winning this award for 3 consective, Burna Boy. This is big for Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
