Mubarak Wakaso has made a lot of money as a footballer, and he is one Ghanaian international soccer star who enjoys living a luxurious lifestyle.
He owns a garage full of expensive cars and has more than two houses in Ghana. On different occasions, Wakaso has shown off all these cars and his home in pictures shared with his fans on Instagram.
From his little background story shared, though Wakaso had a good place where he used to lay his head when he was a young boy, he sometimes found it difficult to feed and sometimes had to play football barefooted. But today, Mubarak Wakaso can boast of being one of the successful athletes from Tamale and in Ghana.
He began his professional career in Ghana, playing for Ashanti Gold Sporting Club in the Ghana Premier League, before moving outside the country in 2008 to sign a five-year contract with his first foreign club, Elche CF.
So far, the 30-year-old midfielder has played for some big football clubs in Spain, and for numerous Ghanaians who like his style of play, he is a Spanish Premier League hero.
Mubarak Wakaso has also competed professionally in Russia, Scotland, Greece, and China. His current team is Shenzhen F.C., a Chinese football club that competes in the Chinese Super League.
Also, he has represented Ghana in a number of AFCON and World Cup competitions. In 2013, Wakaso won the African Cup of Nations top scorer with four goals and in 2017 won the African Cup of Nations Team of the tournament.
