As TV3’s dating reality show, Date Rush enters its season five, contestants continue to entertain lovers of the show with some unexpected decisions.
On episode 3 of season 5 on Sunday 25th April 2021, one of the guys who came to look for a date on the show rather stirs controversy.

Kobby Eugene, who was the second guy for the night. This was after David decided to reject the ladies who kept their rushes on for him.
When it was decision time for Kobby Eugene who is a nurse by profession, she surprisingly decided to turn off the rashes for both two ladies.
His decision denied him the opportunity to get a date for the night. He rather told the host that, he was interested in Bella and Bibi whose rushes were off for him.

The decision by Kobby Eugene sparked some controversies. As some Ghanaians could not understand why he rejected the two beautiful ladies who were interested in him.
On why he broke up with his former girl friend, he broke up with her after realizing that, he was with another guy. After he left his sick grandpa to chase love. Upon reaching her home, she was no where in the house.
He also revealed that, he lost his grandfather because of his former girlfriend. As he has to leave him in the care of grandma just to attend to his girlfriend.
