Every year on the 9th of May, we commemorate our mothers as a way of showing our gratitude for their unconditional love and sacrifices.
Many Ghanaians used their social media accounts to express their gratitude by sharing pictures of their mothers with the rest of the world.

In Ghana, some well-known celebrities made the same gesture by sharing photos of their mothers on social media.
However, one celebrity whose post saddened Ghanaians was the “Nothing i get” singer, Fameye. The talented musician lost his mother when he was only a year old.

So he was raised and nurtured by his grandmother. His ordeal didn’t stop him for commemorating mothers day.
Fameye posted a picture of himself at his mother’s graveyard depositing some flowers on her mother’s grave.
The picture courted sympathy from some Ghanaians who empathized with the singer. This shows the vital role our parents play with in our lives.
