Former Minister For Transport, Dzifa Attivor Passes On

Dzifa Aku Attivor was a former Minister for Transport under the NDC government during their tenure of office. News reaching Edemtrendsgh this morning indicates that, the former minister, Dzifa Aku Attivor, has died.

Report gathered from family sources revealed the politician passed on Tuesday, 16th November, 2021 in Accra after falling sick for sometime. This happened in the early hours of Tuesday.

Madam Attivor was one of the top representatives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region and servicing in several positions.

She was appointed as the Minister for Transport in 2013 during the tenure of President John Mahama Ghana after the NDC candidate won the 2012 presidential election.

Attivor was was hit by the controversies around the bus re-branding contract which led to her resignation in December 2015.

Dzifa Aku Attivor died at age 65.
