Celebrated Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang who is nicknamed “Pusher”, has shared the funny story behind this name.
The name “Pusher” started reigning in the movie fraternity when he played the role of a “bad guy” in a movie titled “Things We Do For Love” in the 2000s educating youngsters about sexuality.

Since then, he is recognized by masses for this roles played in series and numerous Ghallywood movies.
Opening up about how the name “Pusher” came by, the legendary actor Adjetey Anang revealed he was returning from work one day and his vehicle broke down somewhere around mallam road in the middle of a heavy traffic.
So he had to get down from the car and start to push his car. During the process, a commercial driver’s mate upon sighting him started to shout “Eii Pusher w)n nsi Pia.”
This literally means get down to push something. This funny comment made received backup voices from other mates and drivers who were also in traffic.
