Tamale University Of Development Studies Students Representatives Council has stunned many Ghanaians after publishing the cost of a single student bus terminal on social media.
The bus terminal, which was composed of ordinary mild steel, cost a whopping GHC 63,175, according to the SRC’s ultimate total spending. The unit cost was GHC 45, 160.62, according to the SRC receipt, with the additional cost coming from fabrication and installation.
This is certainly out of the ordinary, as the materials utilized suggest that this bus station should not cost more than GHC 3,000 per unit. These people, who may one day hold prominent positions in Ghana, are committing a complete daylight heist.
