But mostly, this act is very common when one visits our chop bars in Ghana. There are men who do this job to make ends meet and after that get rewarded for the good work done.

In this video circulating, you could see a man using his manpower to pound semi ready fufu. At the pace at which he does it obviously makes one feel what this man going through.
Although there are inventions of machines that just need electricity to turn the boiled cassava into fufu, many individuals still adopt to the local way of pounding fufu and this is because they feel using the Pestle and mortar is medicinal as compared to the machines used in mashing the cassava.
