Gifty Arthur (Gyimidi) is an Actress in the Kumawood movie industry. And for all lovers of Kumawood movies, she is known for portraying comic characters in movies.
Kumawood Actress Gifty Arthur has been acting for 5 years now. She started her movie career after being discovered by a movie producer in Takoradi. This happened when he came to eat at a Restaurant was operating with her cousin.

Gyimidi is the last born among 3 siblings, two brothers and with her being the only girl. Gifty Arthur is a Fante, from Takoradi in the Western Region Of Ghana. Thus where her career as an actress started.
After featuring in a number of movies such as “The Gift” in Takoradi which saw Kumawood stars like the late Bishop Bernard Nyarko and Matilda Asare. After sometimes starring in movies in Takoradi, Gifty Arthur was “carried” away to Kumasi by Kumawood movie producer K. Gyasi. With this she found herself in the Kumawood movie industry.
In an interview granted by Kumawood actor and host Kwaku Manu, She revealed that she has a son who she gave birth to in 2009 due to poverty. This was after she completed her SHS education in 2008.

Furthermore, Gyimidi on the Aggressive interview said her child is 11 years old now. When she got pregnant her mother didn’t take it easy with her and had to run from home. But She was found and brought back home but her grandmother came in.
She had to go stay with her and there she gave birth. Gifty Arthur has lost her father who she also revealed in the interview.
In her 3 years in the Kumawood movie industry, She has played roles in “Adult Education”, “Dr. Atinga”, “Ama Kanbuu” and a whole lot.
She also won an Award at the 2020 Ghana Innovation Award and a nomination for “Actress of the year” at Ghana Youth Entertainment Awards’ 20.
