I Thought Stonebwoy Was A Jamaican Trapped In Ghana until I Heard Him Speaking His Local Dialect-Beenie man

Stonebwoy is often mistaken to be a Jamaican born artiste to fresh listeners of his songs due to how he blends dancehall with highlife or afrobeats.

Inarguably, he is regarded as one of Africa’s best reggae artiste despite the majority who hail from Jamaica.

During an interview session, King of dancehall with name Beenie Man who happens to be a Jamaican clearly stated on Okay fm hosted by Abeiku Santana that, he thought Stonebwoy was a Jamaican artiste who chose to live his life in Ghana.

All because the manner at which the Bhim president puts his songs makes one have no doubt whether he is a Jamaican. In addition he said the Ghanaian dancehall artiste has understanding of the dancehall genre which makes his craft sounds good anytime he delivers.

Beenie Man in the interview said he got to know that Stonebwoy wasn’t a Jamaican when he heard him speaking a local dialect which is mostly spoken in Ghana.
