Kumawood actor Akurugu, born Kwesi Boateng has thrown light on some of the ordeals he faced whiles growing up as a child born different.
Akurugu Baba Yoka as he is called among his peers in the Kumawood movie Industry shared this heart wrenching stories in an interview with his colleague actor and presenter Kwaku Manu on his show, “Aggressive Interview.”

According to the actor, when he was young, people used to call him Mr. frog and many name when they had grudges against his mum and grandmother.
He disclosed he felt bad sometimes with the kind of comments coming from people and in his family, he is the only who has this special look. He also affirmed that since he was born till date, he has never set his eyes on his dad and any attempt to ask his mum gets her worried.

Akurugu also during the interview told Kwaku Manu that even ladies in his Hometown didn’t like him but since he became a star in the Kumawood movie Industry, people are trying to show they cherish him.
