Recently social media got heated following a statement which was passed on by Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale. He made a comment while performing to a large crowd during the freedom concert at the Accra Sports stadium in Ghana together with Medikal.
The SM boss made a comment revolving around the lack of support from Nigerians to Ghana music despite theirs making waves in Ghana. In addition, he stated that he doesn’t even need any external help from Nigerian artistes to sell out a concert. He even went to the extent of using some unfavorable words.
Nigerians after spotting the video turned social media into a boxing arena as they clashed with Ghanaians and the Ghanaian dancehall artistes. Among those who reacted to Shatta’s statement were Djs and movie stars like Yul Edochie.
Finally, the A-listed musicians are coming out one at a time to react to the comment. Grammy award winner, Wizkid while performing during Afrochella organized in Ghana at the El- wak Stadium stood for peace to reign.
He clearly stated that, there is only one Africa and he cares less if you are white, black or blue, he will show love equally to everyone. He also said Ghana, Nigerian and Kenya are all one Africa.
