Black Sherif has earned 8 nominations at the upcoming 3Music Awards for categories which include the ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ and ‘Artiste of the Year.’
Speaking on his nominations at the 5th edition of the 3Music Awards in a radio interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM, the ‘second sermon’ Hitmaker Black Sherif affirmed he feels lovely for his many nominations.

The hip hop artiste asked by the host if he was very optimistic of winning the two most important categories which are the breakthrough act and artiste of the year since Sarkodie remains the only Ghanaian artiste who have won Awards for these two categories at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
He replied to the question saying it is only God who knows what will happen at the event, but he is hopeful that his Blacko tribe, his fans, will help him repeat this record set by Sarkodie at the 2010 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
“Let’s see bro. God knows what will happen, but I dey trust the Blacko Tribe,” he said.
