KiDi Biography
KiDi is a young talented Ghanaian musician under Lynx Entertainment, a record label he got signed unto in 2016.
Richie Mensah is a producer, songwriter and a former musician, who owns this label. He is also kidi’s manager and that of a couple of other artists as well.
When it comes to making hit songs in Ghana’s music industry, the young highlife and Afrobeat artiste is one of such acts who has dropped bangers since he released his first track “say you love me” under the record label in 2017.

KiDi’s real name is Dennis Nana Kwaku Boadi Dwanena.
Date of Birth (Age)
He was born in Teshie Nungua in Accra on 18th August, 1993. Also, he is a 28 year old rising musician in Ghana.
Hometown
Kidi is from Kwahu Abetifi in the Eastern Region, and that’s his real hometown.
Education
Kidi attended Grace preparatory in Kaneshie for his primary, St. Anthony’s School for his JHS and headed on to Accra Academy for his SHS education which he completed in 2012.
He went on to pursue his University education at the University of Ghana, Legon where he offered a degree course in Economics and information studies and graduated in 2016.
Family & Background
He is from a nuclear family numbering five. He is the eldest of his two siblings Eli and Philip.
His parents are named Mr. Gerald and Beatrice Thompson.
Speaking about his background, Kidi says he used to struggle back then and they had to be moving from one area to another but God being so good, he has become a superstar in Ghana’s music industry.

Girlfriend
The musician confessed he is single at the moment. But it has been alleged that beautiful Ghanaian songstress Cina Soul is the girlfriend of Kidi.
Son
People were astonished the first day the award winning musician shared a photo together with his son in 2016 marking his 3rd Birthday. Kidi’s son is called Zayne and he is a handsome young looking boy.
MTN Hitmaker
Kidi joined popular music reality show MTN Hitmaker in the year 2015 and went through to the finals where he was announced as the winner of Hitmaker season 4.
That’s how most of us first saw the artiste and with great performances shown on stage we were optimistic of seeing him make waves in the music industry.
Music Career
Kidi plays instruments like the piano and keyboard and most of his beats he does them by himself.
Again, the “sugar daddy” artiste as he is nicknamed discovered he could sing at the age of 12 in church and school. But officially started pursuing his music career whiles in the University were he used to play live band Shows at popular places in Osu, Accra.
Kidi knew Richie during that time through a friend, and he recommended the Hitmaker reality show to the rising artiste. So he was in school when he showed up on Hitmaker reality show.
He won the competition but not much was heard about Kidi a year on as he wanted to complete school, do his National Service and now go fully into music.
KiDi revealed he prayed to God on 31st Night in 2016 as he was finally wanting to make music and asked for a breakthrough.
He got answers after releasing his first hit “Say you love me” in 2017 under Lynx Entertainment, followed by “Odo”, “Adiepenna”, “thunder” among other songs till these current days.
