Ghanaian afro pop singer, King Promise is the only Ghanaian nominee among top Nigerian artistes competing for the Best African Music Act which is to be held by MOBO.
Currently, it has been recognized that Nigerian artistes are doing the most when it comes to selling of music globally and that could be backed with the recognition both Wizkid and Burna Bwoy got from Grammies.

A flyer posted by Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo shows the only Ghanaian musician to appear in the category is competing with the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Burna Bwoy, Tiwa Savage and other top reigning Nigerian musicians.
On the flyer, the date issued for the awards happens to be the 5th of December in the year 2021 at the United Kingdom. Despite King Promise being the only Ghanaian there, this actually calls for celebrating looking at how Nigerians have dominated the world with their music.
