- Kantanka Automobile Company Limited and Manufacturing Plant – This is a first and only Ghanaian car manufacturing company owned locally by a Ghanaian, Dr. Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo Kantanka. Some of his car brands include Kantanka Saloon, SUVs (Nkunimdie and Kantanka Opasuo). His cars are assemblied from knock-down kits supplied by a Chinese firm, possibly Foday via Chongqing Big Science & Technology.
- Volkswagen Ghana Assembly Plant – This is current car manufacturing to join the train of manufacturers in Ghana in 2020. Their company is located at Accra North Industrial Area. It’s a German car manufacturing company with its headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany.
- Mahindra Assembly Plant – This assembly plant is a subsidiary of an Indian company Mahindra and Mahindra Company Limited. They are the producers of all the Mahindra vehicles we see in Ghana with partnership with Mahindra and Mahindra Ghana Limited.
- Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Company Limited – Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Company Limited have their assembly plant located in the Freezones Enclave in Tema. This is to provide employment to the locals in Ghana and equip them with new and highly skills.
