A Ghanaian taxi driver has been applauded on social media after returning an amount of GH¢8,000 left in his car by a passenger.
The passenger, a market woman in her 50s who sells fish at the Mallam Atta Market in Accra, boarded this taxi on Friday, May 6, 2022, and forgot the sum in the vehicle.

However, the driver, who later released the woman, had left her cash in his car and decided to return it to her residence, where he dropped her off after picking her up.
In a viral video today on social media, it’s all tears of joy as the emotional trader is seen holding the taxi driver and thanking him for the good deed.
