Meet Rodney, the son of Stephen Appiah who plays football

Rodney Appiah is the second son of ex-Blackstars Player Stephen ‘Tornado’ Appiah. The 19 year old currently plays his football for Premier League team Accra Great Olympics.

Rodney Appiah at first didn’t give much into football but when it got to a time, he felt he was born to do this. So he decided to drop out of school to pursue football as his full-time career. Stephen Appiah has been the backbone of his son Rodney as he supported the dreams of his son who wanted to become a footballer.

Recently, Stephen Appiah has been in the trends as he named his best players of all time in Ghana. Stephen Appiah included football legends Abedi Pele and as well all aware he has his sons and daughter who are professional footballers now. The Mystro Stephen Appiah had no choice but also had to do it for his son too who has taken off from his dad.

Rodney, son of Stephen Appiah has vowed to perform better than his father. Growing up as a child, he observed how Ghanaians were cheering up and supporting his father, Stephen Appiah.

Indeed, Stephen Appiah is a legend in Ghana’s football. He started from the local club Accra Hearts of Oak and captained the Senior National team the Black stars.  He used to play the number 10 position. Stephen Appiah has also played for Udinese, Parma, Juventus and among big teams in the world.
