The Football Association hasn’t made any official communication yet to the public but per the information shared by some media houses indicates that the decision was taken as a result of a meeting held between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the GFA deliberating on Black Stars performance as this year’s AFCON.

Milovan Rajevac, the Serbian National, now a former coach of the Black Stars, took over from coach C.K. Akonnor four months ago and he led the Black Stars team to the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations competition.

Unfortunately, the team’s performance at this year’s tournament has been described by many Ghanaians as the worse ever since the year 2006 after they were defeated by Morocco, drew with Gabon and suffered a defeat in their last group game in group C against Comoros Island.

An official statement by the Ghana Football Association confirming Coach Milovan Rajevac sack as Black Stars Head Coach is said to be released today, January 22, 2022.
