Who is MzVee?

MzVee is her stage name but her real name is Vera Hamenoo Kpeda.
She is a gifted songstress in the music industry in Ghana and with the kind of exposure gotten over these years, classifies her as one of the best female singers now in Ghana.

She was born in Labadi, Accra and have lived in North Kaneshie also and current at East Legon. Again, she was born on 23rd June, 1992 and her age being 29 years old.
Both of her parents are Ghanaians Florence Hamenoo-Kpeda (a caterer) and Ernest Hamenoo-Kpeda (a business) and out of four (4) children, She is the third born.
Is MzVee an Ewe?
She is truly a Voltarian belonging to the Ewe tribe. Pertaining to her hometown, she is from Keta in the Volta region.
Educational Background
MzVee attended her Primary and J.H.S. at St. Martin De Porres in Dansoman, Accra and her S.H.S. at St. Mary Girls located in Korle-Gonno, also in Accra.
For tertiary education, she attended Central University College and Ghana Telecom University.
Music Career
At a young age, MzVee loved to sing due to the training given to her together with her siblings by their mother.
Right after SHS, MzVee with one female friend from Merries went to see Richie, the owner of Lynx Entertainment record label.
He formed a three girls band with one other girl with the group name “D3” where MzVee was the lead singer. She became solo after some time and started to release tracks under the same record label.
