Some Nigerians on social media have descended on Burna Boy for the manner at which he described Nigerians in an interview.
The globally recognized musician described Nigerians as people who only tell lies when they want to defraud someone or group of people.

Patriotic Nigerian social media users concluded saying he could have say good things about his country yet chose to bring disgrace upon the nation and its people.
Some revealed the singer has been identified as one of the artistes from the motherland who never speak well of his own country he was born and raised in.
However, others didn’t see his speech as harmless and instead heaped praises on him for saying the bitter truth according to them.
