After the Bostwana and Uganda government paved the way to show gratitude to their teams who brought home medals from the just ended Olympics, Ghana has also followed the same path to congratulate their bronze Medalist, Samuel Takyi.
The only Ghanaian who was able to win a medal (bronze medal) after many years of searching, is set to receive $10,000 and additional $2000 for a development fund.

According to 3 sports, Samuel Takyi is not the only one who has found he on his side. But his fellow colleagues who also part-took with him are going to receive $5000 each for their efforts.
