Rapper M.anifest Touches Down In Cameroon Ahead Of Opening Ceremony For 2021 AFCON

Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has successfully touched down in Cameroon ahead of the grand opening ceremony for the African Cup of Nations 2021.

The 33rd edition of the 2021 AFCON will start on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde, Cameroon.

There will be an opening ceremony that will take place at the Stadium which we will see great musical performances from a number of musicians on the African continent.

Shortly after the ceremony, Cameroon, host nation of the 2021 African Cup of Nations, will take on Burkina Faso at exactly 4 p.m. GMT.

With individuals from the various African countries arriving in Cameroon to support their own, Ghanaian rapper M.anifest appears to be the first musical art to touch down in the country ahead of the opening ceremony taking place on 9th January, 2022.

Though it’s rumoured, he will be performing at the opening ceremony, we can confirm if it’s a fact but in his post on twitter, he shared a photo of himself after arriving in Cameroon Safely and revealed he is there to support his home team the Blackstars of Ghana.

Ghana Blackstars in Group C will play their first match against Morocco at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo, Yaounde on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
