The love Nigerians keep showing Ghana’s very own rapper Micheal Owusu Addo easily identified as Sarkodie is exceptional. The Ghanaian rapper was recently spotted at this year’s Vodafone Music Awards performing his collaboration song he had with Castro. This was to honour his good friend in the music industry.
For fact, many appreciated the present of the rapper at the VGMA especially his performance. With no doubt Sarkodie is known to be one of the musicians in Ghana cherished by Nigerians. The likes of R2bees, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie himself make their admirers feel special anytime they set their foot in the country.
Once again, the widely known African rapper, Sarkodie has gained the needed respect from Nigerians. This was in relation to an electrifying performance acknowledged by Nigerian musician, Runtown. His presence on stage brought a different atmosphere and vibe. Many were on their feet and hailing the king of rap in Ghana and BET winner.
He performed some his old tracks including “Adonai” which many people sang along although they weren’t familiar with the dialect. Some aspect of his rap was in Ghana’s local dialect “twi”. At a point, Runtown who welcomed Sarkodie on stage also performed “Pain Killer” with him.
