Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale hits back at critics for comparing him to other artists in the music industry. In the new video making rounds on social media, the self-acclaimed dancehall king sent some words of advice to other artists especially the young ones concerning comparison in the music industry.
This is in relation to the recent comparison that has been on between him and Black Sherif who has been trending for some time now, both in Ghana and Nigeria. However, he wasn’t the only person used for such comparison; Sarkodie and Stonebwoy were also involved.
In the video, Shatta Wale stated that comparison between artists have been in existence since Ex-Doe and Chicago’s era. He also added that due to comparison, some artists have fallen in their music career because it sometimes eats into artist’s emotions and bring them down.
Further, he suggested that Black Sherif should be allowed to enjoy his shine and money he is making freely rather comparing him to Black Sherif. He went ahead to brag about his necklace and wrist watch saying it cost him 120k and 59k dollars respectively.
