According to his tweet, he will be ending his music career after the delivers his retirement album, “GOG ALBUM”.
Shatta made this statement though one of his social media platforms, Twitter.

The self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah has put out a statement that he will be retiring after the release of his GOG Album.
The dancehall king is set to deliver the album anytime soon from now and that we should all expect it.
Most importantly, Ghanaians and his fans have their fingers crossed looking forward to this last album.
However, the industry might be a little dull in his absent and his fans will miss him.
In his post, he wrote, “THIS #GOGALBUM WILL BE MY RETIREMENT ALBUM. Made enough to go into new businesses and create employment for those who still want to follow the course !”
