Micheal Owusu Addo who uses the stage name Sarkodie spoke out his mind on certain issues like any other person who is fed up. As we all know, the likes of Samini, some Ghanaian comedians and Sarkodie himself endorsed Nana Addo for the 2020 elections.

However, Sarkodie and Samini came under criticism when some Ghanaians realized that the current government has nothing to give them but what they encounter each and everyday is long suffering from the government.

Though Ghanaians kept lambasting him for sympathizing with NPP government, he looked for ways and means to talk about issues bothering the country.

While speaking in an interview on Asaase radio he fired the same shots at people who think the current government is under-performing all because of him.

According to Sarkodie, social media is a platform where you need not to get furious when anyone attacks you. Also he revealed that social media doesn’t ask of a person’s mental state before they sign up so he doesn’t waste his energy trying to explain things.
