Sulley Muntari Joins Accra Hearts Of Oak As Their New Signing

Sulley Muntari, former Inter Milan and Black stars player, has reportedly joined Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts Of Oak.

The 37-year-old midfielder is said to have signed a one year contract with last season’s Ghana premier league champions Phobia and is expected to be unveiled by the club in the next couple of hours after he successfully completes a mandatory medical.

Sulley Muntari, for sometime now, has been training with Accra Hearts Of Oak and probably there’s no doubt that the technical team was impressed with his performance considering the fact that he is very energetic and skillful on the field of play.

The native of Konongo since the year 2019 has been without a football club after leaving Spanish side Albacete, but he has played for top clubs like AC Milan, Udinese, UC Milan, Pescara, Ittihad, Sunderland and among others.

In the 2009/2010 football season, Sulley Ali Muntari won the UEFA Champions league with his Italian club Inter Milan. He was also among the squad for Portsmouth team that won the FA Cup in 2007/2008.

Sulley, After Asamoah Gyan who plays for Legon Cities Football club will be the second Ex Black Stars player to feature in the Ghana premier League when he finally joins Accra Hearts Of Oak.
