Joana Krah is to serve 6 years jail term after she was hit with fake kidnapping and a decision made by the court.

It has been confirmed that Takoradi woman Joana Krah, who faked her own Kidnapping in Takoradi has been Jailed 6 years by Takoradi Circuit Court A. The court which was presided over by Justice Michael K. Ampadu came out with his final verdict on 26th October, 2021.

The decision by the circuit court got many Ghanaians happy and applauding the judicial system for a good work done.

The issue of people faking kidnaps in Takoradi is becoming much and a worry to many. Many see you this as unreasonable and also ask the question, why would someone fake a kidnap? Is it to gain popularity or money? Well, the reason behind such act is not known.

It was believed that the woman in question faked her kidnapping on October 22 in a order to get ¢5,000 from a relative.
