Ghanaian Highlife Fameye has made it point blank that his pertinent in the music industry does not depend on Tiktok. He indicated Tiktok is not behind his songs going viral.
Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle and celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, the ‘Praise’ crooner disclosed said that TikTok never determines whether a song is good to go viral or not..
Also, his main aim has always been to make good music and if the TikTok community decide to push or promote the songs, he is okay with it. But to the extend of claiming they are the ones that will make your songs go viral is never true.
Further, he indicated that he is never against musicians who contact Tiktokers to promote their songs. On the other hand, this does not gives the Tiktokers the bragging right to claim they are in charging of making songs go viral in the music industry.
Fameye also said that music is much bigger than TikTok and for him, he doesn’t need the platform to make his songs make waves.
