As part of the government effort to mitigate the high rate of mobile money fraud in Ghana. The Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumai gave a hint on the reregistration of SIM cards in which is scheduled to take place in June.

At the CEO’s submit today, the Minister for Communication Honorable Ursula Owusu, also talked about the reregistration of SIM cards in Ghana.
She disclosed that the exercise would roll out in June, 2021 and end in December, 2021. She farther went on to made it clear that all unregistered Sim cards in Ghana from then will be blocked.
