A video captured the disappointing moment Ghanaian musician Kidi left the Auditorium where the VGMA 2021 event was held.
This came after the announcement of the ultimate Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2021 “Artiste of the Year” Winner. He was also routing for himself to win over other popular Ghanaian musicians in that category.
Unfortunately, the award went to Gospel musician Diana Hamilton. She emerged as the overall deserving artiste for the year 2021.
Kidi, who didn’t hear his name being mentioned as the Artiste of the Year left the premises. He was in high hopes for in winning that category as he bagged four Awards from other Categories. And when he waited to be crowned as the overall Champion, it swerved him.
Therefore, it became a bad moment for him as he left the Grande Arena with disappointment.
Moreover, a bunch of people before the start of the Awards tipped Kidi to win the overall because of his “Blue EP” Album, won ambassadorial deals, released hit songs and other factors.
