Xandy Kamel, whose real name is Xandria Dede Kamel, is a Ghanaian actress and a TV show host. She is also a philanthropist, a brand Influencer, and former personnel of the Ghana immigration service.
Xandy is 32 years old. She was born in the Oti Region, Ghana, on April 20, 1990, to Honourable Henry Ford Kofi Kamel of blessed memory and Madam Helen Kamel. She lost her father, a Ghanaian politician who served as a Volta Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, in 2012.

Career
Xandy Kamel joined the Ghana Immigration Service after her National Service. However, she left the service a few years on due to her father’s death. A few years later, she met a movie producer in Kumasi named Macho, who introduced her to the Kumawood movie industry.
She started her acting career in Ghana, starred in a few Kumawood movies, and later moved to Nigeria to continue acting before returning to Ghana. Xandy Kamel has featured in numerous films, such as Baby Mama, Four Forty, Sugar Daddy (series), 5 pm, Melisa (series), and Destiny. She has played roles alongside the late Bernard Nyarko, Emelia Brobbey, Kwaku Manu, Kwadwo Nkansah, Tracey Boakye, Olu Jacobs, and others.
Also, as an actress who has shown very good acting skills within a few years, Xandy Kamel has won awards such as the Glam International Best Female Award in Nigeria, Fast rising actress of the year in Ghana, and others.
Along the line while she pursued her career in acting, Xandy also began a career on Television as a TV show host. She is currently the host of “Entertainment Titbits” on Angel TV and host of ‘Time With Xandy’ on Xandy Kamel’s TV, formerly Kaxan TV.
Personal life
Xandy Kamel married in 2020 to former Angel TV sports presenter Kaninja, but unfortunately, in 2021, the two decided to go their separate ways a few months after celebrating their first anniversary. The former couple didn’t have any children together but for Xandy, she has three children (adopted children).
Philanthropy
She stated that her father was someone who loved to give back to society. Therefore, in 2013, after her dad’s death she formed the Xandy For Hope Foundation to honor her dad and continue his philanthropic works. Xandy through this foundation, has fed street children, provided free healthcare support to people, given out school bags, exercise books, and others to students, just to mention a few.
