Rising Ghanaian Rapper Thorsten Owusu Gyimah better known as Yaw Tog has been in the trends on twitter for hours. This is mainly because of what he said in an interview he granted few days ago.
The musician was hosted by MzGee on New Day, an entertainment program on TV3. He revealed during the interview that Stormzy made him popular in the music market, but he also made him popular in Ghana because a lot of people didn’t know him. So, I think we both did magic to ourselves and to our brands he added.

This was after he was asked by the host whether the Ghanaian and UK born rapper Stormzy he got featured on his “Sore” song made him popular after because of the perception some people had.
Masses after watching the video, dragged his name to twitter as they didn’t agree to what he said. But others have backed him as they say it was the truth he spoke. The trend has been going on for many hours now.
