Popular Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya now holds a record of being the first Ghanaian youtuber/content creator to receive a YouTube gold play button.
Wode’s YouTube Channel in December 2021 had 1,000,000 subscribers and recognizing his channel as one of the popular on the video sharing platform, the YouTube Industry has awarded him with gold play button also called a YouTube Plaque.

The plaque made of real gold plated brass was delivered to Kobina Ackon, popularly called Wode Maya, on Monday 24th January, 2022 for this milestone reached in his content creating journey.
He dropped post on his official twitter announcing the successful delivery of the plaque to him and in the post he disclosed he might be carrying it on his head since he this is the first in Ghana.
