The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has led some Ghanaian students studying in Ukraine to go into hiding.
It has now become very difficult for the government of Ghana to intervene after these students called for support. This is because Ukraine’s airport has been destroyed by Russia.

These students are still pleading with the government to support them as Russia is moving its troops towards cities in Ukraine.
On Thursday, Russian President, Vladimir Putin disclosed that Russia has seize and begun missile strikes against Ukraine.
As at now, we have seen and heard a couple of missile strikes by Russia which has destroyed properties and displaced some citizens in Ukraine.
However, some Ghanaian students studying in Ukraine are calling on government because they have been stranded and have nowhere to go.
It was also reported that citizens in Ukraine in some of the cities affected are migrating to the near by countries as refugees.
The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has also added it voice pleading with the government to come to the aid of students in Ukraine and Russia.
There is a video trending on social media showing how some Ghanaian students have hid themselves in the underground of a building for protection.
