Cookie Tee was born on February 25, 1991, in Bawku, the Upper East Region of Ghana. She spent part of her early life in Bawku and relocated to Kadjebi, a town in the Oti Region, with her late mother, Mary, after she turned three (3).
However, at Kadjebi, she was raised by her grandmother. She also started schooling at Kadjebi. But again, after a few years, Cookie was moved, but this time to Accra, where she furthered her education and spent the rest of her early life.

Media Journey
Growing up, Cookie Tee wanted to become a newscaster. At a young age, She loved to watch news anchors, read the news on TV, and repeat whatever the anchorwoman or man said in front of her family. However, she started acting before becoming a media person. She has starred in Ghanaian movies, including Hashtag, A Wise Man, and Shampaign & 3 Idiots.
Tibilla’s media journey began in 2018 as a television host working for GHOne TV. She was the host of “Guess Who Is Coming For Dinner” and other TV programs like “Toast” and “Tales From The Powder Room” on GHOne Television. In 2019, After a few months on TV, Tibilla was put on “The Zone” on Starr FM by Bola Ray, so she was doing both TV and radio.
In 2020, She left GHOne ATV and joined another media company in Ghana, thus TV3 Network Limited. She started her journey at TV3 Ghana as a co-host of The New Day, a morning show aired Monday to Friday on TV3. Cookie is still a co-host of The New Day with Roland Walker and Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku.
Aside from The New Day, Shirley Tibilla is a co-host of Ghana’s Most Beautiful, a Pagentary Show on TV3 and Kitchen Wars, and the host of Today’s Woman. In addition to her career as a TV/Radio host, Cookie is also a host of public events, and so far, she has hosted public programs like the RTP Awards and Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

On the day of the launch, she donated items and cash to women at the Maternity ward of the 37 Military Hospital in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, gave money to some agg hawkers at the 37 Lorry Station, and paid for the transport of some passengers.
