Ghanaian musician Yaw Tog has sent a congratulatory message to his “daddy” Dr. George Akuffo Dampare after he was sweared in as New Inspector General Of Police.
Dr. George Akuffo Dampare is now Ghana’s 23rd Inspector General Of Police and a ceremony held yesterday, 8th October, 2021 saw the President Of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo swearing him as new IGP designate.

He was selected by the President to be an acting IGP with effect from 1st August, 2021 and this follows the retirement of Former IGP James Oppong Boanuh who was appointed in 2019 by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
However, Kumerican drill artist Thorsten Owusu Gyimah better known as Yaw Tog, who completed his SHS education two days ago have got people wondering with his congratulatory message to the new IGP.
In his post on Instagram, the “Sore” Hitmaker shared a photo of him and the new IGP and in his caption, he wrote congrats “daddy” which some people are trying to figure out if it’s his dad in reality, a family member or a just mentor to him.
