Black Sherif was selected amongst the artistes who were supposed to perform at the Ghana in the park event at Uk.
But according to reports, the globally recognized Ghanaian artiste was absent at the show as a result of an amount mentioned as his pay after the show.
Sources have indicated that, the organizers of the show wanted to give him an amount of £10,000 as his booking fee but he demanded for €50,000 which they couldn’t afford to pay.
HitzFM tweeted, “According to an anonymous source [a member of the Akwaaba UK group], the group proposed an amount of £10,000 (GHS 97,786) as Black Sherif’s performance fee for the Ghana Party in the Park event. However, Blacko’s team was demanding £50,000 (GHS 489,387).”
This has caused a riot on Twitter, with many bashing Black Sherif’s management teams for sabotaging the artiste.
However many too have backed the artistes and his management for demanding such amount because Black Sherif is now regarded as one of the hottest artistes in the world.
