Ellen Korkor Asante who was known for her Afia Schwarzenegger role has commend radio and TV personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso also Delay for her support and bringing her into the limelight.
Korkor, during Delays’ 40th birthday celebration, indicated that she named her baby after the radio and television host. Her reason was based on the support Delay gave her and bringing her out of nowhere.
If we can remember, Korkor played the role of Afia Schwarzenegger in Delay’s produced Afia Schwarzenegger television series, which gave her the exposure.
“Delay, you made me. I just can’t describe how grateful I am because I was a nobody. You were the first person to rent an apartment for me when I came to Accra.
“I can proudly say that I owe a restaurant in Accra due to your influence. No wonder I named my daughter after you, Deloris Frimpong Manso. I love you Delay. you have done a lot for me. Right from my humble beginning at Nkwakaw, words will fail me if I talk about all you’ve done for me.”
Delay also posted the video on her Instagram page to commend Korkor for her lovely words as well.
