“I was Depressed For 2 Months” – Black Sherif Talks About His Depression (Video).

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has opened up about a depression he suffered depression for like two months.

In an interview granted to him, Ismail Mohammed Sherif better known as Black Sherif, he was asked by radio and television host Tilly Akua Anipaa if he has ever suffered depression.

The musician in his reply to the question revealed that somewhere in 2020 he went through depression for two months and had to deactivate his social media account.

However, speaking about what brought this depression, he disclosed it was due to people promising to help him music wise but failed him on countless times. This made him want to give up on music career and decided to just wait for his Shs results just to go to further on to tertiary.

He added two of his friends around him also suffered the same ordeal, and it became something like a group depression.

All in All, Black Sherif is now a “big star” in Ghana’s music industry and there are well-known artistes in Africa who have made known publicly that they love his music.
