The rapper in an interview shared some interesting experience after visiting Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
According to Sarkodie, he had the perception of going to sell himself to Jay-Z and his team but it ended up that they even knew more facts about him than he know about himself.
He said; “I went to Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s office and I thought I was going to sell myself but they told me about myself”.
In reply to whether he met Jay-Z, the rapper indicated that he didn’t meet Jay-Z himself but Jay’s cousin.
Throwing more lights on what Jay’s team did, he said “they were giving me a whole breakdown of my career and the show I did at Apollo and told me about the song I released before coming to the office”.
“They displayed a screen to show me more about myself and even stats that I didn’t have about myself”.
He was then asked how he felt and he said, he kept quite throughout because he went there to tell them about himself but it turned out that the guys were rather selling him to himself.
