“I Was Sacked From Pope Johns SHS” – D Black Reveals

Ghanaian rapper and business man D Black has revealed he was sacked from Pope Johns Senior High School.

The Chief executive officer of Avenue Muzik Desmond Blackmore better known as D Black confessed this on a live Kalyjay space session on Twitter.

According to the “Oh Vera” Hitmaker, he was sacked from Pope Johns Senior High School when he was in Form 3 and this was because he broke a school rule by leaving school to Accra to record some songs.

He added that he was suspended twice for same act previously but his third got him expelled and this made it impossible for him to write his WASSCE in the catholic school.

Therefore, he had no choice than to register for NOV/DEC (a private examination) which he did and at the end passed with extinction.

D Black later gained admission into the University of Cape Coast (UCC) to study Economics but later transferred to the University of Ghana, Legon where he offered Theater Arts.
