OB Amponsah Features On CNN Africa (Watch Video)

Popular Ghanaian Comedian OB Amponsah gets featured on CNN Africa.

The standup comedian by night and optometrist by day Obarima Amponsah better known as OB Amponsah, made his appearance with a documentary on CNN Africa’s weekly show African voice changemarkers.

The special segment on CNN Africa focuses on individuals who are impacting the life of others and while influencing areas such as music, film, sports and many more.

OB Amponsah, in this documentary, talked about his profession as a health practitioner (Optometrist) and an outstanding comedian in the Comedy/Entertainment Industry in Ghana.

In his own words, he revealed it was his childhood dream to be a doctor and he grabbed the chance to pursue Optometry at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana.

Currently, he is practicing Optometrist and also combines his studies with his comedy. He went on to make indications that, many Ghanaians took offense to his religious and political jokes but that didn’t weigh him down.

Explaining further, he said there was no need for to find offense in his political and religious jokes if they don’t react the same to other topics of his jokes.
