She was born on July 29, 1959, in Casitas Springs, California. Her father was singer Johnny Cash, an American country music legend, and her mother, Vivian Liberto, was a homemaker and author. Cindy lived most of her childhood life with her parents in Casitas Springs, California, until her parents divorced. Cindy was one of the four children of Johnny and Vivian. She was the third daughter of her father and mother.
Her biological siblings are Rosanne Cash, Kathy Cash, and Tara Cash. Much information about two of her sisters is not known, but Rosanne Cash is an American singer and author. When Cindy was nine years old, her parents divorced.

After her parents divorced, her father married June Carter Cash. Carlene Carter and the late Rosie Nix Adam were her half-sisters, while John Carter Cash was her half-brother. John Carter Cash was the only child of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

Cindy Cash Career
She followed the same path as her father, and she started her career doing music. Cindy first performed with her father at a show when she was 16 years old, where she sang along with him in his last performance. She also performed with her stepmother, June Carter Cash.
Two years along the line, she was in a music group known as ‘The Next Generation,’ made up of herself, Loretta Lynn’s daughter Peggy, George Jones and Tammy Wynette’s daughter Georgette, and Conway Twitty’s daughter Kathy. The musical group performed at many shows during the 1980s before she retired. Cindy Cash operated an antique store in Ridgeland, Mississippi, after she retired from doing music.
Alongside her music career, Cindy wrote a book ‘The Cash Family Scrapbook’ which was published by Crown Publishing Group in 1997. Her book contained stories about her life and the Cash family, her parent’s love life and marriage, and happenings till the book was done.
According to Cindy, her father and mother had a good love life, although they got divorced when she was very young.
Cindy Relationships, Marriages and Children
When Cindy Cash was 18 years old, she got married to her first husband, Cris Brock, her high school sweetheart, but later divorced. Cindy had a daughter with Cris and moved with her to Hendersonville, Tennessee. Later, she married her second husband, Marty Stuart, a singer-songwriter. Cindy and Marty were married for five (5) years thus, from 1983 to 1988.
After her second marriage, she met Eddie Panetta, and they got married in 2003. Unfortunately, Eddie died in a motorcycle accident in 2009. Other information about whether she had children with the other men she married isn’t known.
Death of Her Father, Mother and Stepmother
Within the space of six (6) years, Cindy Cash lost her parents, including her stepmother and husband, Eddie Panetta. Cash’s stepmother, June Carter Cash, died in 2003, and a few months after, she lost her father, too. Her biological mother died in 2005, and she lost her husband in 2009.
