Filaman, real name Joseph Appiah is an award-winning Ghanaian actor and a musician. He is the blood brother of Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu and the only famous sibling among his other four.

Filaman Ghana, Kwaku Manu’s younger brother, was born in Ahasonyewodea in Obuasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He is the fourth child of a professional shoemaker Agya Yaw Nimo from New Edubiase, and his wife, a native of Amankyem.
