A throwback video of Black Sherif, arguably the hottest hip-hop artiste in Ghana now auditioning for MTN Hitmaker, has hit online.
It’s surprising because many have no idea the ‘Kwaku the traveler’ Hitmaker, before becoming a household name in the music industry, went for an audition to compete in one of the seasons of the popular Ghanaian music reality show.
In the video chanced by Edemtrendsgh, Black Sherif showed up on stage in a white and black striped shirt and sang Okyeame Kwame’s Woara song featuring Raquel. He was shown a “yes” card by Kwaywa, Eazzy, and Richie, who were the judges for the audition, which means he did well and was through to the next stage of the auditions.
